Annual Vaccination

Annual vaccinations are an important investment in your pet’s health and welfare. Dogs should be receiving a C5 vaccination annually (covering three core vaccines – canine adenovirus, canine distemper virus, and canine parvovirus; and two kennel cough vaccines – canine parainfluenza virus and bordetella bronchiseptica). All cats should be receiving an F3 vaccination annually (covering the three core vaccines – feline panleukopaenia, feline rhinotracheitis virus, and feline calicivirus). Additionally, outdoor cats should be receiving Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) vaccination.

At the time of vaccination, our vets will perform a thorough physical exam and discuss any concerns you might have regarding your pet’s general heath and wellbeing. 

Ninderry Veterinary Surgery recommend annual vaccination of both dogs and cats, according to the following protocol:

Dogs

1st vaccine – 8 weeks

C4

2nd vaccine – 12 weeks

C5 (C4 + BBS oral)

3rd vaccine – 16 weeks

C4

Annual booster

C5 (C4 + BBS oral)

Cats

1st vaccine – 8 weeks

F3

2nd vaccine – 12 weeks

Ninderry Veterinary Surgery also offers vaccination against canine leptospirosis and feline immunodeficiency virus. If you feel your pet could benefit from either of these vaccinations, give us a call to discuss this with our friendly team. 

Service fees

Veterinary service fees are discussed in full before treatment of any illness or injury is commenced.

We endeavour to provide the best available care and service for all our valued clients however we understand that families have budgets and we will always try, where possible, to offer an alternative to suit you.

To maintain our reasonable fee structure, we are unable to offer account facilities. All services are provided on the basis that they will be paid for in full at the time of service or when your pet is discharged from hospital.

Payment for goods or services can be made by cash, Eftpos, Visa and Mastercard.
