Growing up in the UK countryside, I was lucky enough to always be surrounded by animals and spent most of my spare time horse riding.

I found my feet as a vet in a busy mixed animal practice there, before seeking an adventure and coming to Australia to work and travel in early 2024. The Sunshine Coast stole my heart and has quickly become a home-away-from-home.

I’ve always enjoyed studying science, so to combine this with my love of animals seemed like the perfect career for me.

I now have a keen interest in small animal dermatology and surgery, and particularly enjoy getting out and meeting our fantastic equine patients and their owners in this beautiful part of the world.

At home, I have 2 beautiful dalmatians (one liver, one black), and a small collection of horses my family has acquired over the years including a cheeky skewbald shetland pony.

Outside of work, I embrace the Queensland culture by surfing, playing beach volleyball and training for the next marathon I’ve signed up for with optimism. I also enjoy riding when I find the time!
